SCOPE:
Our Assembler builds, test, and package medium to large sized parts and products. Assembler II’s read blueprints, use handheld tools and medium-sized machines to assemble products, and perform product tests to ensure quality standards. We are looking for individuals who have experience in production or manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the willingness and ability to learn and follow repetitive assembly procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to verify assembly process and quality requirements.
- Follows assembly procedures to build complex parts, using hands and machinery.
- Explains assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
- Positions, aligns, or adjusts workpieces or parts to facilitate assembly, using clamps.
- Cleans parts, using washing tub, water, cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Packs finished parts for shipment, including assembling boxes, lining boxes, inserting foam, places product in box, closing, and labeling.
- Examines products and performs quality checks, including measuring pressure and checking for leaks.
- Identifies quality issues, determines causes, and reworks parts as necessary.
- Operates paint booth.
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Required:

- Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written.
- Ability to perform all work in a safe manner.
- Must have high attention-to-detail and strong vision and hearing.
- Ability to learn new machines and production procedures.
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks.
- Ability to push 200 pounds on manual pallet jack safely
- Ability to operate electric pallet jack safely
- Ability to operate high pressure air & N2 test equipment safely.
- Ability to safely operate power hand tools
- Manual dexterity (i.e., the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasps and manipulate objects of varying sizes).
- Ability to stand for 9 hours a day.
- Skill in active listening and following directions.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred:
- • Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly.
