Direct Counsel is seeking two Mid-Level Litigation Associates to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in Washington, D.C. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex antitrust and commercial litigation matters, representing clients in high-stakes disputes before federal and state courts, as well as regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities

Handle complex antitrust litigation, including monopolization, price-fixing, bid-rigging, and unfair competition claims.

Draft briefs, motions, and other court filings in high-profile litigation matters.

Conduct case law research and legal analysis to support litigation strategies.

Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.

Assist in antitrust investigations and enforcement actions involving the DOJ, FTC, and state attorneys general.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including economists and industry experts, to develop case strategies.
Qualifications

Education: J.D. from a top-tier law school, class of 2019 to 2021.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of antitrust and commercial litigation experience at a major law firm or government agency.

Preferred: Judicial clerkship experience and strong writing skills.

Skills: Excellent legal research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to work on complex, fast-paced litigation matters.
Work Environment & Compensation

Salary Range: $310,000 – $390,000 (compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and firm policies).
