Job Description:
Direct counsel is seeking a talented Business Litigation Attorney to join a prominent boutique firm in Beverly Hills. The firm focuses on delivering exceptional service to clients in a range of complex business litigation matters, and this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled litigator to handle high-stakes cases.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in business litigation cases involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and complex commercial disputes.

Provide strategic legal counsel to businesses of all sizes in various industries.

Manage and execute all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial, including discovery, depositions, expert witness management, and motion practice.

Handle disputes related to fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder disputes, and unfair business practices.

Advise clients on business risk mitigation strategies and legal compliance.

Prepare and draft all litigation-related documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.

Appear in court for hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution processes like mediation or arbitration.

Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategy and ensure efficient case handling.
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

2-8 years of experience in business litigation, ideally with experience in high-stakes commercial disputes.

Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, including motion practice and trial preparation.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to manage client relationships.

California Bar admission is required.
