Mid-Level Finance & Derivatives Associate (CLO Focus) - Big Law Compensation

Direct Counsel is seeking a Finance & Derivatives Associate (Class of 2020-2022) to join a prestigious law firm with a highly regarded finance practice. This role focuses on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions while receiving Big Law scale compensation .

Responsibilities :

Advise on structured finance and CLO transactions
Draft and negotiate loan agreements, ISDA documentation, and related transactional work
Work closely with clients on complex financing structures
Collaborate with a well-established finance team on high-profile matters

Qualifications :

Two to four years of finance and derivatives experience, ideally with a focus on CLOs

Background in structured finance, securitization, or funds finance

Strong drafting and negotiation skills

Admission to the New York Bar

Compensation :

Salary range : $260,000 - $365,000 , based on experience and class year
