This full-time, non-partner track position supports the firm’s Complex Litigation Construction Practice. The position is open to attorneys with at least 6 years of litigation experience, with opportunities available in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-party construction defect litigation matters with autonomy.
- Conduct discovery and draft substantive dispositive motions.
- Handle depositions, evidentiary hearings, and trial preparation.
- Address insurance risk transfer issues for property damage claims.
- Participate in arbitration and courtroom proceedings, leveraging strong oratory skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- JD from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar is preferred.
- At least 6 years of litigation experience, specifically in complex construction cases.
- Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Experience in managing time-sensitive, high-stakes cases.
