Direct Counsel is representing a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Corporate & Tax Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. This firm offers an aggressive pay structure with flexible billable hour expectations and an excellent opportunity for career growth.

Position Overview:

The firm is conducting a passive search for a highly skilled attorney with 4 years of corporate law experience to support and lead business transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience handling:

• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

• Business transactions (sales, purchase agreements, etc.)

• Partnership, ownership, and equity agreements

This role involves working closely with the Corporate & Tax Team, led by the Firm’s Managing Partner, and leading matters originated by the team. The firm seeks an attorney capable of billing 1,800 hours per year while maintaining a flexible and sustainable workload.

Key Requirements:

• 4 years of corporate law experience

• Strong background in business transactions, M&A, and partnership/equity agreements

• Ability to take ownership of matters and lead transactions

• Licensed to practice law in California
