Corporate M&A Attorney

Direct Counsel is partnered with an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a highly qualified and motivated associate to join their Corporate M&A practice in their Philadelphia office. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm or clerking experience, and superb research, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate transactional documents

• Advise clients on M&A, joint ventures, and other complex commercial transactions

• Collaborate with clients to develop transaction strategies

• Perform due diligence and legal research

• Support the growth and development of the national practice

Qualifications:

• JD and Pennsylvania Bar admission required

• 5 years of business and transactional experience, including M&A, joint ventures, and other complex commercial transactions

• Strong research, writing, and communication skills

• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively

• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support the national practice

Compensation:

• Competitive salary based on experience
