Direct Counsel is partnered with an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a highly qualified and motivated associate to join their Corporate M&A practice in their Philadelphia office. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm or clerking experience, and superb research, writing, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate transactional documents

Advise clients on M&A, joint ventures, and other complex commercial transactions

Collaborate with clients to develop transaction strategies

Perform due diligence and legal research

Support the growth and development of the national practice
Qualifications:

JD and Pennsylvania Bar admission required

5 years of business and transactional experience, including M&A, joint ventures, and other complex commercial transactions

Strong research, writing, and communication skills

Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively

Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support the national practice
