Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong background in eDiscovery and Information Management, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while gaining exposure to all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage eDiscovery work for complex litigation cases.
- Supervise and coordinate project execution to ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and standards.
- Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for case teams, clients, and vendors regarding eDiscovery execution, implementation, and status.
- Oversee the identification, collection, and processing of client data in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Create and manage document review workflows, including quality control processes.
- Manage document productions and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to review attorneys to sustain high-quality work product and performance.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment and promote collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M.
- Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.
- 3-5 years of eDiscovery experience in law firm, corporate, or government settings.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Experience drafting and negotiating eDiscovery protocols and agreements is highly preferred.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid model with some in-office presence required.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $260,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
