Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-to-senior Employment & Labor Associate to join a leading Employment & Labor practice group in Los Angeles (Santa Monica & Downtown) or San Diego. This role offers a mix of employment counseling, litigation, and transactional work, providing a well-rounded practice in a top-tier firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on employment policies, practices, and compliance.
- Draft and negotiate employment and separation agreements.
- Provide guidance on statutory and regulatory employment laws.
- Represent clients in employment litigation and related matters.
- Mentor and train junior associates in the practice group.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of employment & labor law experience at a law firm.
- Strong experience in employment counseling, litigation, and transactional work.
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- High level of initiative, motivation, and leadership skills.
- Admitted to the California Bar.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $310,000 (Final offer based on experience and location).
