Salary Range: $130,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
Job Description:
Direct counsel is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join a distinguished boutique firm in Beverly Hills. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney specializing in employment law to represent high-profile clients and work on a variety of employment-related matters, including complex litigation and workplace counseling.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise and represent clients in employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and employee classification.

Handle complex employment litigation in both state and federal courts, including representing employers in claims related to wage and hour violations, retaliation, and employee rights issues.

Draft and review employment contracts, non-compete agreements, severance agreements, and workplace policies.

Provide strategic counsel on labor law matters, compliance with state and federal regulations, and risk management for businesses.

Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution processes.

Conduct internal investigations regarding harassment, discrimination, or policy violations.

Stay up to date on changing employment laws and regulations, and proactively advise clients on compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

2-8 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on both litigation and workplace counseling.

In-depth knowledge of California employment laws and federal labor regulations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and legal research skills.

Strong ability to handle a large caseload and manage client expectations.

California Bar admission is required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
