Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support, and domestic violence matters.
- Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the case.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to maintain case progress and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in family law, with proven courtroom and litigation experience.
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $135,000 - $150,000 to start.
