Direct Counsel is seeking a Finance & Derivatives Attorney for a premier law firm in New York. The position is open to mid-level to senior associates or special counsels (class of 2019 and above) with deep expertise in securitization, structured finance, and asset-backed lending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and lead complex securitization and structured finance transactions.
- Advise clients on a wide range of asset-backed lending matters.
- Negotiate and draft transaction documents, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements:
- JD from a top law school.
- Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to waive in.
- At least 5 years of experience in securitization, structured finance, or related areas.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transactions and manage client relationships.
