Direct Counsel is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate to join a leading national law firm. About the Role:
The firm is looking for an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate finance, commercial finance transactions, and/or working with financial institutions and borrowers. The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Drafting loan, security, intercreditor, and related agreements
- Advising on covenant compliance
- Leading due diligence teams
- Managing specialists
- Negotiating and structuring financing transactions
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Strong academic background
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
Compensation & Benefits:
- Anticipated salary range: $180,000 – $315,000, depending on experience and location
