Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a mid-level associate (3rd–4th year) with strong litigation experience—particularly in New York state courts—to join its specialized restructuring litigation team. This is a collaborative group where associates have meaningful client exposure, front-line responsibility, and the ability to develop deep subject matter expertise in financial restructuring.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in high-stakes litigation arising out of distressed and restructuring scenarios, both in and out of court

Draft complex pleadings, motions, and briefs for commercial disputes involving bankruptcy, contract claims, and securities issues

Manage discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and coordination with clients and experts

Conduct legal research and provide strategic litigation support in fast-paced, high-value matters

Participate in case strategy development and client meetings

Collaborate with other practice groups, including transactional restructuring, finance, and regulatory teams
Qualifications:

3–4 years of complex commercial litigation experience, with a preference for work related to financial restructuring, distressed situations, or securities litigation

Experience litigating in New York state court required; familiarity with federal court and bankruptcy court is a plus

Excellent brief writing, legal research, and oral advocacy skills

Strong academic credentials from a respected law school

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this role is $260,000–$310,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, seniority, and other relevant factors.
