What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Services Litigation Associate position at Direct Counsel?
Direct Counsel has partnered with an elite national law firm in their search for a highly qualified and motivated litigation associate for their Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. This position is open to all firm offices, with a preference for Kansas City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia or New York. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm experience or clerking experience, and superb problem-solving, writing and communication skills. The ideal candidates will possess 3 years of diverse litigation or clerking experience. Requisite experience: litigation involving commercial real estate and litigation involving distressed loans and real estate, debt and security instruments, or creditor and lender liability, taking and defending deposition and demonstrated experience in the courtroom. Attorneys will benefit from immediate client contact in a dynamic practice group as a part of a collaborative firm and learning environment. The expected salary range will be between $230,000 - $390,000 annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
