Direct Counsel is seeking an Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join a renowned firm with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Denver, Austin, Phoenix, or Washington, D.C. This firm has one of the most comprehensive infrastructure practices in the U.S., focusing on the innovative delivery of large public civil works projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on legal matters related to construction law, real estate law, public contracts, and/or transportation regulatory law.
- Work on complex infrastructure projects with a focus on project delivery and public-private partnerships.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and take ownership of significant matters.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to provide strategic legal counsel.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in construction law, real estate law, public contract law, and/or transportation regulatory law.
- Professional or academic background in engineering, construction, or project finance is desirable.
- Strong academic credentials and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Admission to the state bar in the office location is required.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $185,000 - $235,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Eligible for various annual bonuses, including a 15% bonus for meeting 1,850 billable hours (which includes up to 100 hours of pro bono work).
