Direct Counsel is partnered with a rapidly growing Plaintiff’s Personal Injury firm in Los Angeles that is seeking a talented and experienced Supervising Pre-Litigation Intake Manager to join their leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, strategic professional with a passion for delivering exceptional results and mentoring high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the pre-litigation process with the support of case managers, assistants, and internal departments including Property Damage, Medical Records, Demands, Negotiations, and Lien Resolution.

Lead a high-volume intake pipeline, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, proper case development, and exceptional client service.

Run analytics and performance tracking to identify lead sources, intake success rates, and develop strategies to optimize conversions.

Drive strategic decision-making and actively participate in case evaluation, medical management, and settlement strategies to maximize case value.

Conduct regular case audits and team meetings to ensure cases are being worked up efficiently and proactively.

Maintain regular client contact to build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the pre-litigation phase.

Ensure team members and support departments are achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

Collaborate closely with attorneys, legal staff, and leadership to align case strategy, client experience, and firm goals.

Serve as a motivational team leader, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth among team members.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in personal injury law, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Proven expertise in pre-litigation case management and client intake.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in legal software and case management systems is a plus.
