Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm with an immediate need for a highly qualified Antitrust Associate.
The firm’s nationally recognized Litigation & Trial Department is seeking a motivated and skilled associate to join its expanding Antitrust team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of substantive experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control, with strong familiarity across key statutes such as the Sherman Act, Clayton Act, and Hart-Scott-Rodino Act.
Responsibilities:

Handle complex antitrust matters including litigation, investigations, and merger clearance.

Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust laws, regulatory issues, and economic competition.

Draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and discovery responses.

Support all stages of litigation, including depositions, trial prep, and client communications.

Engage in merger review processes and coordinate with government enforcement agencies.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.

Strong academic credentials and JD from an accredited law school.

Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Licensed to practice or eligible to waive into one of the firm's listed jurisdictions.

Prior experience with an Am Law firm or relevant government agency is a plus.
