Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate for Public Agency Clients in California.
An immediate opportunity is available for an associate with 2-4 years of litigation experience to join a firm representing public agencies such as cities, counties, transit agencies, and public pension plans . This role involves working on a wide range of cutting-edge disputes in environmental law, water law, public records, construction, real estate, and more.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent public agencies in litigation actions (both as defendants and plaintiffs).
- Handle matters related to environmental rules, water law, construction, breach of contract , and constitutional issues.
- Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, briefs, and motions in state and federal court.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently and take ownership of significant projects.
