Mid-Level Entertainment Associate – Century City
Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Entertainment Associate to join a prestigious and fast-growing law firm in Century City. This firm’s Entertainment, Media, and Music Industry practices serve global entertainment, music, and media companies, institutional and private investors, and creative talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle corporate and commercial entertainment and music transactions, including the purchase and sale of music catalogs.
- Negotiate and draft recording and music publishing deals, music licensing agreements, and development, production, and distribution agreements.
- Advise clients on cutting-edge legal matters in the entertainment and media space.
Qualifications:
- JD earned between 2019 and 2021.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Large law firm experience required.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in entertainment and music transactions.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $260,000 – $390,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
