Responsibilities
The firm is seeking a technical advisor with a background in electrical engineering and prior industry experience. Candidates currently attending or planning to attend law school are encouraged to apply. Specific responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and analyzing technical literature, patents, and patent application documents
- Critiquing and providing insights on technical data
- Collaborating with attorneys and experts on infringement and validity issues
- Analyzing products related to claims of patent infringement
- Supporting global patent portfolio development strategies
- Assisting attorneys with expert reports and witness examinations
Collaboration is central to the role, and the position requires approximately 60% in-office work in accordance with firm guidelines.
