What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Injury Attorney position at Direct Counsel?
A highly respected and well established LA based plaintiff firm is presenting a unique opportunity to a dynamic, highly motivated, results oriented Litigation / Trial Attorney.
This position is ideal for a Litigation Attorney with 7 years of litigation experience and well versed in personal injury.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Drafting pleadings and correspondence
- Taking and defending depositions
- Working with clients on day-to-day advice and opposing counsel inquiries
- Law and Motion practice on cases
- Drafting discovery (mostly meet and confer / motions side)
- Document review
- Attending court hearings as 2nd chair
- Negotiate settlements for Legal Disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications :
Successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, the ability to prioritize, and to work both independently and cooperatively.
Salary is commensurate of Experience.
