Real Estate Associate – Los Angeles
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join a leading law firm in Los Angeles. The firm is looking for an associate with at least 3 years of real estate transactional experience to represent a diverse client base, including owners, investors, developers, lenders, private equity firms, and family offices in all aspects of real estate transactions and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, and construction.
- Assist with specialized matters related to hotel ownership, franchising, and management.
- Work closely with one of the premier hospitality law practices in the world.
- Negotiate and draft transactional agreements, conduct due diligence, and manage closings.
- Collaborate with other practice groups, including land use, corporate, tax, labor, intellectual property, and litigation.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of real estate transactional experience.
- Strong finance and leasing experience preferred.
- Prior hospitality experience is a plus.
- California Bar admission is required.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Compensation:
- Base salary range: $210K – $245K, depending on experience.
- Performance-based bonuses available.
Salary : $210,000 - $245,000
