Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join a highly regarded law firm in New York, NY.
About the Role:
The firm is looking for a mid-level or senior associate (or counsel-level attorney) with at least 4 years of experience representing commercial and investment banks, debt funds, and other regulated or non-regulated lenders.
Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Securitization, syndication, and/or participation of commercial mortgage, construction, and/or mezzanine loans
- Structuring and negotiating complex real estate finance transactions
- Exposure to representing commercial real estate developers, owner/operators, and borrowers is a plus
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in commercial real estate finance
- Strong background in loan structuring, securitization, and lending transactions
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar required
Compensation:
- Anticipated annual base salary range: $310,000 – $460,000
- The actual salary will depend on factors such as qualifications, years of experience, and location
