Senior Antitrust Associate Attorney – Washington, DC
Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Antitrust Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in Washington, DC. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney looking to contribute to a sophisticated and dynamic legal practice.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in antitrust law and commercial litigation
- Experience providing antitrust support for mergers and acquisitions, including:
- Managing “clean team” protocols
- Drafting risk-shifting covenants in purchase agreements
- Advising on HSR Act reportability
- Coordinating foreign filing analyses
- Preparing premerger notifications
- Representing clients in “second request” investigations
- Strong background in commercial litigation, including discovery management and brief drafting
- AmLaw 100 or government experience preferred
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- JD from an ABA-approved law school and active D.C. Bar membership
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $350,000 - $390,000, with actual pay based on experience and other job-related factors
