Senior Associate Attorney / Special Counsel – Cyber, Data & Privacy Litigation
Locations : New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, DC
Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with extensive experience in privacy, data security, and consumer protection litigation and investigations to join a premier Cyber / Data / Privacy (C / D / P) practice group . This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on high-profile regulatory enforcement investigations and data privacy class actions at an internationally recognized firm.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions involving consumer protection, data privacy, and cybersecurity (e.g., State AG, FTC, and other agencies ).
- Defend data privacy and security class actions , including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping laws, and data breach statutes .
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance .
- Engage directly with tech-focused clients and manage complex projects.
