Responsibilities:
- Advise high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business owners on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, and tax-efficient planning.
- Draft complex wills, trusts, and estate planning documents tailored to clients' needs.
- Handle probate and trust administration, providing guidance to fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
- Collaborate with corporate and tax attorneys on estate planning matters related to business succession.
- Develop and expand client relationships to build a growing book of business.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in California.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in trusts & estates law, including estate planning and administration.
- Experience handling high-net-worth estate matters, tax planning, and business succession.
- Some existing portable business is preferred, but not required—must have a strong interest and ability to grow a practice.
- Excellent client service skills and the ability to develop lasting relationships.
