Senior Corporate Associate (5 Years) – Seattle, WA
Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate to join a well-respected regional law firm in Seattle. This is a great opportunity for a mid-to-senior-level corporate attorney to work on complex transactions while serving clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle entity formation, including private companies, LLCs, limited partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Lead M&A transactions, private placements, and debt/equity financing.
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, credit agreements, and securities documents.
- Manage complex corporate transactions with direct client exposure.
- Collaborate across offices and practice groups to support a diverse client base.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of corporate legal experience, ideally in a law firm setting.
- Strong experience in M&A, securities, financing, and commercial contracts.
- Ability to manage large and small transactions effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to client service.
- Washington Bar admission or eligibility for reciprocity.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $185K – $200K (higher for candidates with a portable book of business).
- Eligibility for productivity and discretionary merit bonuses.
