The Opportunity
Direct Digital Holdings is seeking a Strategist, Programmatic Advertising to join the team at Orange 142.
The Strategist, Programmatic Advertising manages the full setup and execution of programmatic campaigns, including audience targeting, creative direction, and bidding strategies, while ensuring alignment with budget goals across channels. They monitor performance metrics in real-time, making data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes, and work on developing integrated strategies across display, video, mobile, and social channels. By staying current with industry trends and competitive analysis, they provide strategic recommendations that enhance campaign effectiveness and maintain a competitive edge.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Setup and Management: Coordinate the end-to-end setup of programmatic ad campaigns, including loading of ad creatives, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and scheduling.
- Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Use data to define and segment target audiences based on demographic, behavioral, and contextual information, ensuring ads reach the right users.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor campaign performance metrics (such as CTR, CPA, ROI) and analyze results to make real-time adjustments to meet or exceed client objectives.
- Budget Planning and Management: Ensure campaign spending aligns with budget goals and continuously optimize to maximize performance and manage the budget across tactics.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Develop cohesive strategies that integrate programmatic campaigns across multiple channels (display, video, mobile, social) for a unified customer journey.
- Creative Direction: Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure correct ad creatives are used, aligned with campaign objectives and resonate with targeted audiences.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, tools, and competitor strategies to provide strategic recommendations that keep campaigns competitive and relevant.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in marketing, advertising or another related field is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in digital advertising or marketing required.
- Programmatic buying experience is required.
- Familiarity with the following DSPs: Xandr, Yahoo!, Basis, Beeswax, Amazon.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
- High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
- Ability to learn new industries and new business types quickly
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Compensation
Base salary plus annual bonus and benefits.
