We are currently looking to add a Full-Time Die Cutter Operator to our team.

Requirements :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Follow the schedule and sets up Die Cutter, using supplied boards and materials for job.
Make sure job ticket shipping instructions conform to number of pieces to ship.
Operates Die Cutter efficiently and makes sure every pallet of finished goods is within specified quality guidelines.
If there are any issues with dies, printing, or the equipment to report them to supervisor.
Performs preventative maintenance on machinery such as belt replacement, lubrication, bearing and wheel changes, and clean or replace filters as necessary.
Perform individual cavity quality pulls every pallet. Checks register, cutting, scoring, embossing, and perforation if applicable.
Inspects that the internal stripping is being removed in the stripping unit.
Makes sure finished pallets are properly jogged for stripping.
Helps hand strip the loads going to Gluer if possible.
Maintain accurate inventory of Matrix, Sponges, stripping pins and other materials used for Die Cutter.
Cleans up and keeps area clean and organized.
Performs other duties as requested.
Follow company policies, procedures and safety instructions.

Qualifications – Education, Experience, License / Certifications :

Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs. Able to stand up to 12 hours a day, and continuously move around the equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

You must have basic math (read and understand measurements) and are good working with your hands.

Must be able to read a tape measure.

Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

High School Graduate / GED, preferred.

Be detailed oriented and organized.

Must demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.

Must be able to cooperate and communicate with co-workers and supervisors and be able to work as a team.

Must be able to follow procedures and participate in process improvements.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.

Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per shift.

Continuous movement around the equipment, including bending, reaching, and walking throughout the work area.

Frequent use of hands and arms for operating machinery, adjusting settings, and handling materials.

Ability to perform repetitive motions such as gripping, cutting, and pressing.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Requires good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise adjustments.

Ability to work in areas with varying noise levels and around moving mechanical parts.

Compensation :

The base compensation range for this full-time position is $33.00 - $35.00 per hour plus benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
