Job Summary

We are actively seeking a proactive and skilled Commercial Electrical Service Technician for our Chantilly, VA team. This dynamic role involves both residential and commercial tasks, necessitating a blend of hands-on electrical installation and troubleshooting with a strong focus on safety and quality in every task.

The technician will primarily operate in Chantilly, VA, and additionally support projects in West Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley, always adhering to safety protocols given the high-risk nature of the work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial settings
• Handle troubleshooting and repairs on electrical circuits and systems
• Complete wiring, conduits, outlet installations, and more
• Translate and implement electrical blueprints and diagrams
• Ensure all activities abide by electrical codes
• Conduct safety checks and verify operational efficiency
• Uphold clean and safe work environments per OSHA standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met
• Stay informed on the latest in electrical practices and technology

Qualifications

Educational and Experientive Background:

• Certified Journeyman with 3 years in a commercial setting
• High school diploma or GED, plus preferred additional training

Technical Skills:

• Knowledgeable about tools, equipment, and electrical materials
• Effective troubleshooting and repair of systems
• Capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics

Additional Needs:

• Valid driver's license with reliable transport
• Possess personal hand tools for electrical tasks
