Position Description

We're in search of a seasoned and ambitious Commercial Electrical Service Technician to enrich our team in Chantilly, VA. This position entails both commercial and residential assignments. You will be tasked with installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems using your robust knowledge and problem-solving acumen, always prioritizing safety and quality.

The primary work locations span Chantilly, VA, as well as West Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley, with strict adherence to safety standards due to the high-risk work nature.

Accountabilities and Duties

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial scenarios
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, control panels, and associated gear
• Install wiring, conduits, outlets, switches, light fixtures, and distribution frameworks
• Proficiently read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Ensure adherence to local and national electrical codes
• Test and inspect systems for safety and functionality
• Maintain cleanliness and safety adhering to OSHA and company policies
• Collaborate with team, supervisors, and clients to meet project timelines
• Remain updated with industry standards and emerging technologies

Skills Profile

Education & Background:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience
• High school diploma or GED with preference for additional vocational training or apprenticeship

Technical Expertise:

• Well-versed with electrical tools, equipment, and materials
• Efficiency in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
• Blueprint and schematic interpretation skills

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transport

Employee Offerings

Expect a pay range of $25.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a Monday to Friday schedule and opportunities for overtime.
