DMS East, LLC is looking for a Commercial Print/ Lettershop Estimator to join our team. Wherever you may be in your career, DMS could be the place for you!
Position Summary:
The Commercial Print/ Lettershop Estimator accurately estimates the cost, time, materials, labor, and equipment, required for print and direct mail projects. Collaborates with venders to evaluate risks, estimates timelines, taking into consideration client budget parameters when/if required. Researches new vendors and keeps up with internal equipment and capabilities across the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Reviews RFQs from Sales, as assigned.
- Estimates print production costs and materials.
- Prepares internal Lettershop costs to run jobs.
- Creates internal print pricing worksheets, data process pricing worksheets, lettershop pricing worksheets and Client Face Quote documents.
Additional Responsibilities
- Completes additional assignments and special projects from the VP, Operations as needed.
- Demonstrates behavior consistent with DMS values and the Code of Conduct.
- Learns and adheres to all information technology and data security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Learns and adheres to DMS rules and established policies for workplace health and safety.
- Adheres to all other DMS policies and procedures.
- Completes all required compliance training on time and in good faith.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Preferred but not required
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Brilliant Management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
- Extensive Knowledge of best industry practices and standards.
- Advanced computer skills and demonstrated competency with software such as PrintStream and excel.
- Prior knowledge of and experience in the printing industry.
- Prior experience in Print Buying and Estimating for Print Production.
