Position Summary:
The Dock Clerk's main responsibility is to move product and materials via pallet trucks, forklifts, or company vehicles for the direct mail production facility. Dock Clerks inspect deliveries for damage and proper documentation and may be required to drive a company vehicle occasionally to deliver Standard and First-Class mail to the nearby Post Office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare pallets of product for shipping with required paperwork
- Utilize a forklift and/or pallet truck to load and unload materials (training provided)
- Photocopy postal documents and attach accompanying paperwork
- Reconcile deliveries with purchase orders or bills of lading
- Inspect and document delivered materials for damage
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift
Pay: Competitive rates with additional pay for night shifts
