Summary:
The Facilities Assistant II performs regular inspections of Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) facilities and repairs any damage to the building or furniture.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspects office and production areas for damage to tables, chairs, walls, etc., and makes repairs under the direction of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager (FMM).
- Reports any safety concerns to the Training & Safety Manager immediately upon detection.
- Undertakes occasional seasonal tasks, such as shoveling snow from the sidewalk, setting up chairs and tables, etc.
- Maintains the parking lot and performs superficial building exterior repairs.
- Operates pallet jacks to move supplies, inventory, etc., in support of a safe work environment.
- Acts as the main point of contact for vendors and shipments for production and facilities.
- Sweeps and mops up spills on the production floor.
What You Need To Have:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
