Job Overview

Direct Med Clinic is a primary care clinic that utilizes a monthly subscription-based model to offer affordable and accessible healthcare to our members. This position is for a care coordinator that will be the primary contact person for our patient's healthcare needs, whether in or out of the clinic.

Duties

This is a full-time on-site role for a "care coordinator", that will primarily be located at the Blanco & 410 location, but occasionally may involve job-site health screening. The care coordinator will be responsible for the entire patient flow process, from front desk check-in, vitals and intake, assisting physician with procedures, phlebotomy/lab, check-out, referrals, and handling patient's questions through our portal. We also provide same-day appointments for out patient's urgent needs, such as laceration repair, I&D of abscesses, skin procedures, and IV fluid therapy. Interpersonal skills and positive energy a big plus! Pay depends on experience, qualifications, and local job market.

Requirements

· Bilingual Spanish/English

· Experienced LVN

· Comfortable with phlebotomy and IM injections

· Experience with starting IV's a plus.

· Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and protocols (sterile procedures, HIPAA)

· Communication and interpersonal skills to can maintain excellent patient satisfaction.

· Can organize urgent vs multi-day projects (referrals, etc).
