Position : Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computerized Tomography Technologist to join our team at Direct Recruit Agency. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evening Shift - 8 HRS.
- Collects pertinent medical information and reviews physicians in order to identify the reason for examination and potential contraindications
- Explains procedure to the patient and ensures consent form is signed if required for examination.
- Positions patient, and administers oral or intravenous contrast as required.Monitors patient reactions and responds to adverse reactions with emergency procedures as necessary.
- Selects equipment parameters and logs pertinent information.
- Performs scanning procedure. Modifies parameters as required to improve visualization of desired anatomy.
- May assist physician with biopsy and aspiration procedures, practicing sterile technique as required. Sets up sterile trays
with all supplies and instruments as necessary for procedures. .

Skills and Certifications [note : bold skills and certification are required]
Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Registry eligible must be registered as a CT technologist within 6 months of the start date.
Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, and physicians.
Ability to insert intravenous catheter.
Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
