Position: Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures on pediatric patients
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of images
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain and interpret patient data
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures
- Educate patients and their families on the imaging process and answer any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in technology and procedures
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- ARDMS certification in Pediatric Echocardiography, RCS, RCCS, RDCS, OR RDCS PE.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology in pediatric patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
