About the Opportunity
The Head of Finance will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing revenue cycle processes, and ensuring compliance with external financial obligations. This is a high-impact role ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to make a significant contribution to the organization’s long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to drive efficient and effective revenue operations.
- Develop and maintain financial models and cash flow forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Monitor and report on lender covenant compliance on a monthly basis.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, with potential to transition responsibilities to outsourced or offshore partners.
- Manage the annual audit process in coordination with external auditors.
- Partner with the executive team to identify growth opportunities and enhance organizational performance.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency across financial and operational workflows.
- Maintain strong relationships with financial partners and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
Requirements:
- CPA certification required.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including modeling and forecasting.
- Experience leading finance-related projects and overseeing revenue cycle operations.
- Prior management experience in finance or administrative teams.
- Track record of managing lender relationships and maintaining covenant compliance.
- Comfortable with both hands-on and strategic responsibilities.
- Background in healthcare, biotech, or pharma is a strong plus.
- Proven success in audit management and financial system implementation.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and exposure to more advanced platforms like NetSuite.
