Production Associate - Gaskets

We offer a clean, climate-controlled warehouse as one of the leading suppliers of aftermarket commercial refrigerator door gaskets, frame parts, and strip curtains.

We are looking for a full-time associate to join our gaskets team. This is a standing job, and requires the ability to do repetitive, detailed work and lift up to 40 pounds. It also requires the ability to handle multiple tasks based on customer and team needs.

DRS offers a very competitive salary with our standard hours being 7:30 am-4:30 pm Monday through Thursday (8.5 hours) so you can leave early on Friday (only 6 hour day) working from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. Overtime is occasionally required during busy periods. Production, warehouse, or distribution experience is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of all gasket kits and materials and cut gasket material using miter saws.
• Seal gaskets and cut magnets using small machinery.
• Thread magnets into gaskets and trim excess gasket material from finished gaskets.
• Exhibit flexibility for moving to different stations to meet production and customer needs.
• Effectively produce DRS packaging and shipping standards.
• Accurately compile and package customer orders adhering to the order specifications.

Job Type: Full-time to start within two weeks of onsite interview

Starts at: $17.50 per hour

Hours: 40 per week with very minimal overtime

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 8.5-hour day: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Friday – 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

Education Required: High school or equivalent

Required: Ability to Commute to Cumming
