Commercial Construction & Outdoor Equipment Sales
Our client is a leading supplier of recreation equipment. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative that is extremely driven by selling a product they can be excited and passionate about within their set/protected territory. Target focused includes but not limited to: Architectural Contractors, Landscape Contractors, Builders, Housing Complexes/Builders, and Schools/Education (Day Care, K-12 ), Fitness Facilities, Recreation Centers and Retail. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will be prospecting in the field for new prospects as well as building existing relationships (home office). Presentations are made to small and large clients (Lunch and Learns), therefore you possess strong presentation skills. Candidates must be comfortable selling a complex product as well as a longer sales cycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Min. 3 years Business to Business Sales experience preferably selling building materials, construction sales, architectural sales and/or outdoor recreation
- Experience targeting parks and recreation, landscape architects, municipalities, school districts, etc. strongly preferred
- Seeking sales backgrounds with experience selling new business as well as relationship sales
- Experience with a long sales cycle, RFPs
- Excellent presentation skills (small and large groups)
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with CRM, Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to travel within territory, some overnights
Offering:
- Base Salary Commissions Yr. 1 $80,000 - $100,000
