Territory Sales - Recreation and Architectural Sales
Our client is a leading manufacturer of recreation equipment. Seeking an Outside Sales Representative that is extremely driven by selling a product they can be excited and passionate about in the marketplace. The role will be responsible for direct selling / promoting, cold calling and territory management. Prospect for new clients as well as build existing relationships. Target focus includes but not limited to : Architectural Contractors, Landscape Contractors, Builders, Housing Complexes / Builders, and Schools / Education (Day Care, K-12 ), Fitness Facilities, Recreation Centers and Retail. Presentations are made to small and large clients (Lunch and Learns), therefore you possess strong presentation skills. Candidates must be comfortable selling a complex product as well as a longer sales cycle.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 5 years’ Business to Business Sales experience
- Experience selling into government, education, construction and / or architecture industries strongly preferred
- Experience with complex, consultative sales
- Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
- Highly activity-based sales (hunting, networking, cold calling)
- Ability to initiate and build relationships with key decision makers
- Excellent presentation skills (small and large groups)
- Strong Communication & Negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
- Ability to travel within territory
