Territory Sales - Recreation and Architectural Sales

Our client is a leading manufacturer of recreation equipment seeking an Outside Sales Representative driven by selling a product they can be excited and passionate about in the marketplace. The role will involve direct sales/promotion, cold calling, and territory management. Prospecting for new clients as well as building existing relationships with key decision makers is crucial.

Target Focus:

• Architectural Contractors
• Landscape Contractors
• Builders
• Housing Complexes/Builders
• Schools/Education (Day Care, K-12 )
• Fitness Facilities
• Recreation Centers
• Retail

Presentations are made to small and large clients, therefore strong presentation skills are required. Candidates must be comfortable selling a complex product as well as handling a longer sales cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years' Business to Business Sales experience
• Experience selling into government, education, construction, and/or architecture industries is strongly preferred
• Experience with complex, consultative sales
• Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
• Highly activity-based sales (hunting, networking, cold calling)
• Ability to initiate and build relationships with key decision makers
• Excellent presentation skills (small and large groups)
• Strong Communication & Negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
• Ability to travel within territory

Offering:

• Base Salary $52,500
• Year 1 @ plan $120,000
