Full Time Van Driver

• Our team is looking for a full-time van driver like YOU that is ready to join our thriving team. Direct Services, Inc. is a small family-owned business established in 1976 that's still going strong. We are looking for a professional full-time van driver. The chosen candidate will need to report to Wilmington, MA. This is a permanent position. Direct Services, Inc. will provide training to the right van driver who can demonstrate a strong motivation and willingness to learn. Qualified candidates must have a clean driving record. Candidates must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license. Additionally, the qualified candidate must be able to pass a DOT physical, breath alcohol test (BAT), and drug screen and must be able to read, write and speak English.

About the Role

• The selected driver will be operating out of the Wilmington, MA area.
• Delivery areas will include: New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire.
• You will be expected to work Monday-Thursday, with some additional work opportunities on Friday's, depending on work load and company needs. Additionally, some weeks may require the selected driver to work on Sunday's.
• You will be expected to report to your designated work location at 3am on Tuesday's and 4am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursday's (work days are typically based on 10 hours of availability).
• The selected driver will be operating our company-owned van and will be paid hourly.
• Direct Services, Inc. offers a 6-month bonus program based on job performance and safety.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for loading/unloading freight weighing a maximum of 20lbs.
• Responsible for maintaining the quantities and conditions of your vehicle, timed deliveries, monitoring temperatures, and counting cargo.
• Pay periods are bi-weekly.
