Sales Role and Expectations

As a team lead for our door-to-door sales representatives at Direct Solar, your primary responsibility is to generate leads and close sales by engaging directly with potential customers in their homes.

Key Responsibilities fornyour team

  • Door-to-Door Sales: You are required to dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week to knocking on doors and engaging with potential customers. Product Knowledge: Understand and effectively communicate the benefits and features of our solar products. Customer Service: Provide excellent service, addressing customer questions and concerns promptly. Sales Reporting: Track and report your sales activities and progress as instructed.

Sales Hours:

  • Minimum of 15 hours per week of door-to-door sales. Flexible scheduling, but consistent effort is required to meet sales goals.

3. Referral Incentives

At Direct Solar, we value the potential of our team members and their networks. We offer a referral incentive program for those who bring in new talent to our company.

How It Works:

  • Refer Candidates: Introduce potential candidates who might be interested in a sales position at Direct Solar. Ongoing Incentives: Bonuses will be available based on the performance of your referrals. For the first six weeks the referee will benefit from each sale that the referred new-hire.

To Refer Someone:

  • Provide their contact information to your manager or HR representative. Ensure they mention your name during their application process.

4. Training and Support

Initial Training:

  • Comprehensive training will be provided to familiarize you with our products, sales techniques, and company policies. Training sessions will include hands-on practice and role-playing scenarios.

Ongoing Support:

  • Regular meetings with your sales manager for performance reviews and strategy discussions. Access to additional resources and support materials to enhance your sales skills.

5. Company Policies

  • Attendance: Punctuality and regular attendance are crucial. Work when you can and try to make the best of it! Code of Conduct: Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions with potential customers and colleagues. Compliance: Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in sales practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
