Weekend RN Home Health
We can only accept applicants who live in this territory, and are not relocating into this territory from out of state. It is mandatory that they have HOME Health RN experience presently and that is from a Medicare certified home health company.
The primary function of the Weekend RN demonstrates clinical expertise in nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and advanced proficiency in technical skills necessary for developing, providing, and coordinating care to patients.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. Preference is given to individuals with Baccalaureate Degree.
LICENSURE: Must have current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing and a current valid Driver’s license.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 years current homecare experience.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS: Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other funding source regulations as applied to home health care services. Demonstrate knowledge and competence in advanced practice nursing skills, including the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team.
TRANSPORTATION: Must have valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Extensive traveling and working in patients’ homes in various conditions and environments. Highest risk is in terms of personal safety regarding on-road travel.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop or laptop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
