Job Description:
Operations Coordinator - Fort Smith, Arkansas
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our one of our valued customers in Fort Smith, AR. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a starting pay of $15 per hour, with the chance for pay increases every 160 hours worked during the first couple of months, after which you will be considered for permanent employment.
Location: Fort Smith, AR
Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Must be willing to commit to long hours when needed to achieve goals)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tasks within the AS400 system, ensuring timely receipt and validation of orders via EDI.
  • Maintain high accuracy and meet deadlines for all assignments.
  • Communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues to resolve issues and clarify information.
  • Stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Respond to questions and provide accurate clarifications when needed.
  • Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with coworkers and management.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus).
  • Must pass a background check and drug test (no THC).
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, multitasking environment is required.
  • Familiarity with AS400 system is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent 10-key skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, responsible, and able to follow instructions closely.
  • Effective communication skills, including handling both positive and negative situations.
  • Professional and collaborative attitude with a focus on teamwork.
  • Punctuality and reliability in completing work responsibilities.
