Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example and promote a positive work environment.
Open the plant and set up production for daily operations.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed by factory personnel.
Manage material flow throughout the facility to ensure efficiency.
Work on improving process throughput and operational efficiency.
Oversee personnel staffing needs and make daily job assignments to maximize factory output.
Train new employees on proper job procedures and safety protocols.
Ensure all production documentation is accurately completed daily.
Inspect part quality and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance on equipment.
Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the factory and lumber yard.
Assist in all areas of operations as needed.
Proficiently perform machine change-overs and setups.
Operate production equipment as needed.
Maintain inventory control and track production materials.
Proactively address and resolve production or machinery issues.
Maintain high attention to detail and count accuracy.
Communicate effectively with stackers, operators, and factory management.
Actively participate in required training and skill development.
Load and unload trucks as required.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Must complete and maintain a Forklift License through our internal certification process.
Proven experience in factory management and production leadership.
Strong communication skills to manage and interact with team members and management.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Experience in making production adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
Proficiency in machine operations and changeovers.
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to perform minor repairs to machinery.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a drug screen (no THC).
Clean background check required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
