Since 1995 Colpitts World Travel Ltd have operated as a Corporate & Clinical Trial Travel Company with offices in Edinburgh & Aberdeen. In 2016 Colpitts was acquired by Direct Travel Inc. in the USA and we rebranded to Colpitts World Travel Ltd- A Direct Travel Company.
We are looking for a Finance Clinical Co-Ordinator for our Edinburgh Office to assist with our company’s day-to-day accounting procedures and in particular, handle the unique finance needs of our Clinical Travel department. You will be part of a small team where the work will be varied and interesting. Our opening hours are Mon – Fri 9.00 – 17.30. Suitable candidates must be able to work max of 37.5 hrs. per week. To be eligible you would need to reside within reasonable commutable distance to Edinburgh city center. It will be hybrid working with every Thursday being an office day and any other days as required by your Manager. FTE Salary range between £26000 - £30000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for existing tasks and implement procedures within Clinical Finance role
- Create and update spreadsheets
- Run and maintain Clinical age debt
- Assist with and process Clinical reimbursements when required
- Reconcile Clinical Credit Card statements
- Assist with Clinical vendor invoicing
- Run the monthly Clinical billing process
- Provide holiday cover within the department
- Deal with general finance and administrative queries
- Ad Hoc work as directed by the Financial Manager
Requirements
- Knowledge of finance and experience working in finance
- A good working knowledge of MS Excel (creating simple spreadsheets and macros using financial Excel functions)
- Time management and organization skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and use initiative
- High standard accuracy and literacy
Advantage:
