Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Direct Wire & Cable is currently seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on our equipment and facilities while ensuring safety and quality standards at Direct Wire.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain preventative maintenance on machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Assist with the daily, weekly, monthly preventative maintenance procedures, maintain maintenance records.
• Work with production to schedule preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
• Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of Direct Manufacturing facilities, building and grounds and ensures all are maintained to Company standards
• Follows appropriate safety practices and procedures according to Direct Wire standards
• Monitor spare parts inventory, storage and organization and ensure spare parts are ordered in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair
• One year of experience in industrial maintenance including both mechanical and electrical - technical training strongly preferred
• A positive mindset, commitment to teamwork and our core values is a must
